Description

Jurkat cells inducibly express firefly luciferase under the control of NFAT response elements driven by the activation signals from human TCT/CD3. When ligands from target cells through appropriate peptide/MHC or bispecific antibody bind TCR/CD3 and CD28 on effector Jurkat cells, signal is transmitted through NFAT to NFAT response element in the promoter of the luciferase gene resulting in its expression. The bioluminescent signal produced by luciferase/substrate reaction is measured by a luciferase assay.

Culture condition: RPMI 10% FCS supplemented with Hygromycine 200 µg/ml.
