Rapid Human Antibody Isotyping XpressCard (ISO-HU)
This rapid human antibody isotyping kit detects 7 human antibody heavy chain isotypes and 2 light chain subclasses (IgG1, IgG2a, IgG3, IgG4, IgA1, IgA2, IgM, kappa, and lambda) in five minutes, faster and more convenient than ELISA. This kit is shaped as a cassette. After loading 100 µL of solution, a dark line will appear showing the isotype of the antibody. Another line will appear on the control (C), showing a successful test.
Add 100 µl of solution of mouse monoclonal antibody at appropriate concentration into the well. Within 5 minutes, a dark line will appear showing the isotype of the antibody (IgM, IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, IgA, kappa, and lambda). Another line will appear on the control (C), showing a successful test. Similar kits are available for rat mAb as well. It is fast and convenient, and is an improvement over the traditional method, ELISA.

The Rapid Hamster Immunoglobulin Isotyping Kit is a five-minute lateral flow assay with ELISA sensitivity for monoclonal antibody isotype determination. Acceptable sample types include hybridoma culture supernatant and purified monoclonal antibody. The isotyping kit has two different sizes with 10 or 20 pouches containing two same cassettes per pouch for determining IgG1, IgG2 (*), IgG3 and κ. The strips contain a control line (C).
* Note
Unlike in the cases for mouse and rat, reagents specifically recognizing hamster antibody isotypes are not very common. The available IgG2-recognizing antibody also cross-reacts to IgG3 of the Armenian strain (See above table). Due to the lack of specific reagents, possible IgM and λ chains can only be inferred by the absence of IgG and κ signals.

Antagen’s Lentivirus Titration XpressCard is a rapid lateral flow immunoassay that allows quick confirmation of useful lentivirus titers in the packaging supernatants. The test detects lentiviral capsule proteins released into the packaging supernatant as a surrogate marker to determine whether virus production yields a usable titer for subsequent infection. This assay takes only 10-15 minutes, compared to the conventional re-infection based assay that takes 2-3 days.

* Users are encouraged to correlate T line intensity with functional titers in their own infection systems, as different cell types have different susceptibility to lentivirus. In the above example, HEK293 cells were infected with serially diluted lentivirus packaged supernatants. After 72 hours, ZsGreen-expressing cells were observed under fluorescence microscope. A dark red line was generated by a dilution containing ~2 x 10^6 IFU/ml (as measured by flow cytometry of transfected HEK293 cells).
LentiTitre™ Cassette is a multi-lane lentivirus titration kit for rapid and accurate estimation of the functional lentivirus titres in less than 10 minutes. It is a lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) based titration device, based on p24 detection with sensitive gold-conjugated antibody. Lentiviral supernatant standards functionally titrated at 10^6 TU/mL are included in the kit. By comparing the intensities of the test lines of the standards and that of unknown sample, the cassette can help accurately estimate lentiviral TU titres, using p24 as a gauge. It can also be used to determine the optimal time when packaging preparation is ready for harvesting.

- Simple and quick: Load virus samples and read titres in 10 minutes.
- Unique and safe: Pre-titred lentivirus standards are provided but inactivated to ensure safety.
- Sensitive with large range: Detect lentivirus titres as low as 104 TU/mL and up to 106 TU/mL.
- Flexible with options: To be more economic, multiple unknown samples can be titrated together with the same set of standards.
Antagen’s hIL-8 XpressCard is an immunochromatographic rapid test for the detection of human interleukin-8 in biological fluids, such as urine, serum or plasma. The assay can be potentially used as an aid for diagnosis of primary and secondary infections (e.g., urinary tract infection and neonatal sepsis), as well as certain neoplastic conditions (e.g., bladder cancer), in conjunction with other criteria.

Fetal fibronectin (fFN) is a fibronectin protein produced by fetal cells and certain types of tumor cells. Fetal fibronectin “leaks” into the vagina if a preterm delivery is likely to occur and can be measured in a screening test. When the fFN test is positive, it is an inconclusive result. A positive result can indicate that a woman will go into preterm labor soon, but she may not go into labor for weeks. When the fFN test is negative, the result is a better predictor. A negative result means that there is little possibility of preterm labour within the next 7 to 10 days, and the test can be repeated weekly for women who remain at high risk. A negative fetal fibronectin test gives a more than 95% likelihood of remaining undelivered for the next 2 weeks.
fFN is also secreted into the urine of patients with bladder cancer (transitional cell carcinoma), and can be detected in the tissue culture supernatants of liver cancer, breast cancer and lung cancer cell lines. The possible onco-fetal relation of fFN gene regulation suggests that fFN could be an early biomarker for certain cancers.

NGAL, also known as oncogene 24p3 or Lipocalin-2 (LCN2) is involved in innate immunity by sequestrating iron that in turn limits bacterial growth. It is expressed in neutrophils and in low levels in the kidney, prostate, and epithelia of the respiratory and alimentary tracts.
In the case of acute kidney injury (AKI), NGAL is secreted in high levels into the blood and urine within 2 hours of injury. Because NGAL is protease resistant and small, the protein is easily excreted and detected in the urine. NGAL levels in patients with AKI have been associated with the severity of their prognosis and can be used as a biomarker for AKI. NGAL can also be used as an early diagnosis for procedures such as chronic kidney disease, contrast induced nephropathy, and kidney transplant.
Kidney health is most frequently measured by serum creatinine. Serum creatinine is a marker of kidney function, whereas NGAL is a marker of kidney injury. NGAL levels are a more precise and sensitive marker for diagnosing AKI than serum creatinine levels. In fact, the increase in urinary excretion of NGAL has been proven to be due to tubular alterations that take place before any damage can be detected by other methods. Therefore, monitoring NGAL levels reduces delayed AKI diagnosis and treatment. Using a more sensitive and specific marker allows for earlier diagnosis, correct responses to AKI, and reduced risk of morbidity and mortality.
