96-well plate iceman-rack is specifically designated for facilitating large-scale PCR preparation. The rack holds a 96-well PCR plate, twelve 8-tube strips, or eight 12-tube strips that are used for preparing PCR arrays, genotyping transgenic and knockout mice, screening clones or colonies, running PCR & RT-PCR automation, and benchtop cooling & storage, etc. The rack is made of metal with thermal superconductivity and makes realtime changes (3-5 seconds) in temperature that fits your needs, ranging from -80ºC to +100ºC and is corrosion-proof. The plate or tube strips that fit into this rack are the ones with volumes of 0.2ml per well/tube.
